From Humble Beginnings - Our Story
I'm Spencer Jack, the owner of Top Notch Mobile Car Detaling Darwin. I'm Canadian but 10 years ago I decided that my future was here in the Territory, after I had been backpacking for 2 years around Australia. My passion has always been vehicles from when I was a kid. I spent my childhood working with my dad fixing cars and his boat. When I arrived in Darwin, I found a sponsorship at Darwin Shipstores working as a diesel mechanic and shipwright. After my Sponsorship, I started to develop my passion on detailing boats and learned everything from the ground up with professional people teaching me. Once I learned how to do the job, I decided to start my business as The Boatworks Brothers, with a Mate. I always continue to train myself in new techniques with new aspirations and continue to search for better products to use. I strive to keep up with the continuous evolutions of the products on the markets.
Then Covid came into our lives and destroyed everything that I was building.
In the meantime, I found my wife Silvia and with her strength we evaluated my business again from the dust and she started this new adventure with me. We changed the business name, and started to clarify that my job is not only boats but is open to any type of vehicle having a better and longer life, especially with the harsh UV here in Darwin.
My principal goal is to maintain customer satisfaction. I'm honest with customers and if nothing can be done I will tell you before doing the job. I treat every vehicle as if it were my own pride and joy.
I'm not here to promise you that your vehicle will be new once I am done, but it will be the best it can be again. If the vehicle is too sun damaged I can't do miracles, but I can absolutely help you and tell you what needs to be done to bring it back to looking top notch. I can remove most or if not all scratches from vehicles if its not through the paint to bare metal.
